Children who have trouble getting the most out of their social, personal or academic lives can't effectively be treated until you know what's getting in their way.

That's why we created the Foundations Program at Dana Group Associates. Through comprehensive assessment and skill development, children and adolescents are offered the tools they need to feel more successful at school, at home, and in their peer groups.

Educational Advocacy Services
The Director, Dr. Robert Maron and his colleagues of Dana Group Associates offer Educational Advocacy Services. In addition to assessment and evaluation services, we provide school consultation, child advocacy, independent evaluations, and evaluation of special education programs. These services cover 504 and Individual Education Planning support as well as out-of-district educational plans. Educational Advocacy blends educational, behavioral and emotional needs of the child in the school context. Our professional team is both highly trained with the experience and knowledge to make a difference in assessing a child's educational needs. Dana Group Associates collaborates to define a child's needs, designs and implements an effective intervention, and works with schools to transfer these gains to the classroom. Dana Group works with the child from their elementary school years through college admissions.

Foundations at Dana Group Associates provides integrated services previously available only at hospital and university centers. The combined expertise of professionals from Special Education, Speech and Language, Neuropsychology, Psychology, Psychiatry, and Social Work is at work to maximize your child or adolescent's growth. This consolidated approach reduces stress for parents and children alike.
