PARENTING SEMINARS

Sherry Richman, LICSW joins Dana Group Associates with her 26 years of experience with couples and parenting-family issues related to adolescents, to lead Parenting Seminars. Parenting Seminars will address the following area of concern for parents and their children:

Sherry Richman, LICSW is a clinical social worker with 26 years experience and a background in child and adolescent development. She serves as the Associate Director of Tufts University Counseling Center; and has maintained a private practice focusing on work with couples as well as women around their mothering experience. Ms. Richman has facilitated and led workshops and trainings at area schools for staff, parents and students on many issues related to adolescents and their families. She also holds an advanced degree in Special Education and has worked as a consultant to special needs programs.

WOMEN'S TRANSITIONAL GROUPS

Dana Group Associates now offers an Open Ended Psychodynamic Group for Women ages 20 to 50, lead by Katherine S. Wenger, LICSW. This group will examine past life and relational experiences and their impact on present life circumstances. The group focus will be on women's patterns of behavior and the development of greater insight in understanding these behavior patterns.

The goal of the psychodynamic women's group is to more effectively express emotions, needs and desires in order to achieve more satisfying personal relationships.

This group will be open-ended, running throughout the year. Group composition is restricted to women from the ages of 20 to 50's. The group size will fluctuate throughout the year and can range in size from four to a maximum number of eight participants.

Katherine S. Wenger, LICSW is a licensed clinical social worker whose primary clinical work focuses on older adolescent, adult and in individual and group psychotherapy. She received her Masters in Social Work from the University of Illinois. Katherine Wenger trained for three years at the Boston Institute for Psychotherapy. Additional clinicial interests include early attachment issues and their developmental impact across the lifespan. Ms. Wenger currently holds a clinician staff position for the outpatient services department at Cambridge Hospital.
