KEY OBJECTIVE: Mastering the Transition to High School………
Information Every Student Should Know

This Three-Session Workshop offers answers to incoming High School freshmen to these questions and more:

• Are you wondering what High School will be like?
• Will it be more of the same or will things be different?
• Are you curious about what High School will be like socially and/or academically?

Participants will learn how their strengths and attitudes about entering High School will color their experiences. Whatever a student’s learning style, they can benefit from strategies that will prepare them for entering and navigating the new world of High School.

This workshop includes 3 evening sessions that will each run 2 ½ hours.

• Starting in August, 2009

Dr. Wanda Camacho-Maron, Psy. D., who will be leading this workshop, is currently an Administrator at Dana Group Associates. Dr. Camacho-Maron has worked as a therapist at Tufts University and Holy Cross College in their Counseling Centers. Dr. Camacho-Maron’s clinical experiences include providing individual as well as group therapy to children, adolescents, and adults.
