Alexander Marks

I have experience working with children, adolescents and their families in a variety of settings including intensive residential community acute based treatment, day treatment programs and social skill/self-esteem after school programming. My specialties include working with children and adolescents who face challenges with anxiety, depression, emotional regulation, peer relationships, attention and behavioral issues. I use a strength-based, relational approach, while emphasizing solution-focused and cognitive behavioral therapy techniques to best meet my clients where they are at. I like to use humor, compassion and curiosity to help facilitate an environment where my clients can feel supported and confident to process and face their life challenges.
