Aly Strzalka

I am a licensed independent clinical social worker (LICSW) and a board certified music therapist (MT-BC). I have five years of clinical experience in working with individuals ranging from childhood to late eighties. I use a person-first (client centered) approach for all backgrounds, identities, and needs. I practice individual therapy with a nonjudgmental, humanistic approach. I have extensive training with anxiety disorders and OCD, utilizing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Exposure and Response Prevention. My primary experiences are in working with anxiety disorders, mood disorders, addictions, schizophrenia spectrum disorders, and traumas. I practice CBT therapy. I also use humanistic and strength-based approaches with trauma-informed care. Music is an evidence-based tool to those who need a medium of insight and expression. Each person has their own unique experience as an individual. Regardless of what experience someone has been through, they are a person. I promote personal growth through a perspective of understanding.
