I am a National Certified Counselor and Certified Clinical Trauma Professional with 10 years of human service experience. I graduated from Oakland University in 2015 with a Master’s in Counseling, specializing in mental health. Encompassing all ages, I have worked in a variety of settings including, partial hospitalization programs, in-home therapy services, and intensive residential programs. My primary therapeutic approach is strengths-based with an emphasis on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and other solution-focused techniques. Simultaneously, my therapeutic approach embeds emotion regulation techniques, distress tolerance techniques, and mindfulness techniques. I enjoy using humor, candor, and compassion to assist my clients in developing the skills to tackle their issues in a way that makes sense to them.
