Alison Corning Clarke

I started my social work career in Seattle in Emergency Services and since then have worked in a variety of settings with children and adults. I trained in family therapy and psychodrama and for many years had a private practice in conjunction with a residential spiritual community focusing on holistic health. I have a parallel interest in children’s literature and most recently worked with pediatricians who support parent-child bonding through the use of books in well-child visits and in the NICU. Most recently I completed a two-year fellowship in Maternal-Infant Mental health at Jewish Family and Child Services’ Center for Early Relationship Support. My therapeutic style is supportive, responsive and direct, and I am committed to the belief that each individual has the inner wisdom to find the path that is right for them.
