I have learned from my clients that approach is secondary to the relationship formed. I have learned this important lesson from my child clients earlier in my career and from my adolescent and adult clients in my current practice. I have worked in a variety of clinical and educational settings, College, hospital, clinic and outpatient group practice which has also informed my clinical practice. My current practice generally includes but is not limited to adolescents, adults and older adults. I specialized in college counseling issues/stresses as well transitional periods from adolescent to adult as well as adult to older adult. As a father of 3 boys, I have also learned (from time with my boys as well as clinical training) to be a more understanding and insightful father and as such enjoy working with fathers and their sons on this special relationship. I take the lead from my clients and provide them short term solution/CBT treatment as well as dynamic and longer treatment.
